DIT, Ingest & Editor for film, TV and online.

Bio

As a DIT (Digital Imaging Technician), video technician, editor, and visual effects artist based in the San Francisco Bay Area, I have steadily honed my skills across many facets of post-production and on-set workflow. My career began as a post-production technical assistant and progressed to a supervisory role in commercial post-production in San Francisco, California. From there I joined Industrial Light & Magic (ILM) in Marin County, where I served as a technical operations supervisor and later transitioned into a visual effects editor.

During my tenure at ILM, I played a key role on the DI and digital mastering teams for the Star Wars prequels, including “Attack of the Clones” and “Revenge of the Sith.” I later advanced to the lead online editor position for the animated series “The Clone Wars,” produced by Lucasfilm, guiding episodes through final online finishing. My expertise then led me into ILM’s VFX production pipeline as a VFX editor, beginning with work on “Jurassic World.”

I subsequently joined Lucasfilm Animation as an Associate Editor on the Star Wars: Resistance animated series, where I oversaw final cuts of each episode and ensured episodes met mastering and broadcast-readiness standards. My experience also includes VFX editing work at international facilities such as Base FX and Method Studios in Malaysia and Canada, contributing to high-profile productions including “Aquaman,” “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker,” “The Mandalorian,” and “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.”

After several years interstate and overseas, I returned to Northern California and worked remotely for Assembly (New York) on episodic streaming projects, contributing to shows such as “The Crowded Room” (Apple TV+), “Mrs. Davis” (Peacock), and “The Gilded Age” (HBO).

Currently I serve as a video technician in Silicon Valley, managing media data for a variety of productions. My responsibilities include on-set and studio operations, ensuring quality control and security, handling camera-original media management and storage, transcoding workflows, and performing color-accurate quality checks to maintain technical and creative integrity.
